indieTJ connects to Finnhub's public API only when you explicitly configure an API key and request a price refresh. This connection is for informational price display only — it does not constitute brokerage, trading, or financial services activity.

4. No Guarantee of Accuracy

While indieTJ is designed to perform accurate calculations based on the data you enter, no warranty is made regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any calculation or figure displayed. Specifically:

• Profit/loss calculations depend entirely on the accuracy of data you input
• Capital recovery figures are computational models — they are not guaranteed to reflect your actual brokerage account balances
• Effective cost calculations are based on indieTJ's interpretation of the capital recovery model, which may differ from other methodologies
• Live price data from Finnhub may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable
• Tax calculations or implied tax obligations are not provided and should not be inferred from the application

Always verify all figures independently with your broker or official account statements before making any financial decision.
